South of England Inter-Counties

Parliament Hill - 8th December 2007

Essex had some excellent results at the South of England Inter Counties held at Parliament Hills on Saturday 8th December in some storm-like conditions.

Congratulations to Faye Fullerton who was 1st in the Senior Ladies having to run in borrowed spikes after her own spikes went missing, Alexa Joel was a superb 2nd ably backed up by  Lauren Deadman 9th. The hard working  Harriet Scott was 1st U23 with Danielle Tatum 2nd U23. The Senior Women's team took the Team Gold Medals.

In the U13 Girls saw talented Jessica Judd win her race. In the U17 Women Laura Condron was 5th with Georgie Sales 8th in the U20 Natalie Kipps had a fine run in 6th position. Other Essex Girls Team results U13 - 5th,   U15 - 4th,  U17 = 3rd.

The Men saw Ross Clark have a fine win in the U20's helping  his team to victory,   the Essex U15 boys did exceptionally well to win the Team Gold in this race A. Taylor was a fine 3rd position, other team results Essex U17 Men - 6th, and  U 13 Boys 5th.
